The Arkansas Senate voted this morning Gov. Mike Beebe's veto of a measure that would ban most abortions after 20 weeks. It now becomes law, but for how long?
All 14 Senate Democrats voted against overriding the veto. Nineteen Republicans voted for it. Sens. Jason Rapert and Jake Files didn't vote.
Meanwhile, the Senate also gave final approval to Sen. Jason Rapert's 12-week abortion ban. It now goes to the governor, who'll almost certainly veto it.
