The Little Rock Police Department has arrested a man in connection with two homicides in which the victims' bodies were burned.

Anthony Lazoro Brooks, 27, of #3 Tracy Austin Court, has been arrested on two counts of first degree murder.

The body of Gloria Summage, 50, was found inside her burning house on E. 8th Street on June 19. The body of Amy May Hughett, 31, was found in a pile of burning tires behind a business on Young Road near Geyer Springs on June 27.

The Pulaski County Regional Detention Center inmate roster says Brooks was in jail at the time of his arrest on the homicide charges, having been held there since being booked at 3:20 a.m. June 28 on a first degree terroristic threatening charge, for which the bond had been set at $250,000.
