Lots of these will be coming in today.
U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor’s reelection campaign released its Federal Election Commission fundraising report Monday. The campaign raised more than $1.2 million in the 2nd Quarter and had nearly $4 million cash on hand at the end of June.“We had a very strong quarter and surpassed our fundraising goals,” said Jeff Weaver, campaign manager. “Sen. Pryor is grateful and humbled by the continued support as he fights for responsible solutions that protect Arkansas’ hard-working families and strengthen our nation.”
From April to June, Sen. Pryor raised $1.2 million with $3.92 million cash on hand.
Senate money is kind of funny money. Whatever Pryor raises will be matched or exceeded by the Club for Greed and related corporate financiers anxious to turn Pryor's seat Republican. In other words, the Club for Growth's current representative to Arkansas's 4th District, Tom Cotton, can count on all the money he needs when he announces his race against Pryor.
Elsewhere on the congressional front:
* REPUBLICAN U.S. REP. RICK CRAWFORD raised $99,000 in the quarter and has $168,000 on hand. So far, he has no opposition.
* REPUBLICAN U.S. REP. TINY TIM GRIFFIN said he raised $275,000 in the second quarter and has $447,000 on hand. He is so far unopposed
